1. WIN Tickets to The Caucasian Chalk Circle
The Caucasian Chalk Circle is a new production based on an old Chinese fable The Circle of Chalk, and it will show at the State Theatre Centre of WA from 30 July to 14 August. This exciting co-production from our own Black Swan State Theatre Company with the National Theatre of China is an epic masterpiece that will be presented in a unique ‘Beijing Opera’ style that includes over 60 masks and 80 costumes with surtitles in Mandarin.
The play reveals a story about justice – following the peasant girl Grusha, who rescues the Governor’s infant son as she flees across a war-torn country in search of safety. Its central themes of motherhood, ownership and identity are universal to all cultures and a potent reminder as to how we behave as individuals, how we govern and contribute to building a just society.
Thanks to Black Swan we have 3 double passes to The Caucasian Chalk Circle performance on Saturday 30 July at 7:30pm to give away. To enter, email giveaways@weloveperth.net.au with The Caucasian Chalk Circle in the subject line and your name and number in the body of the email by midnight next Thursday 21 July. The winners will be notified by email.

2. Outsource Unwanted Tasks to MobiTasks
MobiTasks is a new, Perth based business that is all about giving you more free time. When your to-do list is getting a bit long with menial tasks and you just want to get it done and head out to Revelation Film Festival, that’s where MobiTasks comes in.

3. Goldstone at Luna Cinemas
Sometimes a film rolls around that you just have to see and Goldstone is one of those. In season now and showing at Luna Cinemas, Goldstone is the sequel to Ivan Sen’s 2013 feature film Mystery Road. Aaron Pedersen stars once again as Detective Jay Swan in a gritty, visually splendid, western style film set in a remote town in the north of Australia.
The supporting cast is also brilliant, with the likes of David Gulpilil, Jacki Weaver and David Wenham on screen alongside Pedersen.
Don’t miss this excellent Australian title, head to the Luna website to view session times.
