As you will have seen from our most recent snow report, the Alps have had another dose of September snow and it’s even been snowing in the Italian Dolomites. So don’t hold back…now is the time to snap up a bargain and get that first trip booked. Here is our pick of the ski deals for mid-September:
Tignes for £449pp with Ski Total
Stay at Chalet Lys Martagon in Tignes, which is now £449pp (was £499pp) travelling on December 15. Located a minute’s walk to the nearest piste, this attractive chalet makes a good base. The price is based on two adults sharing and includes return flights from Southampton to Geneva (other airports available), transfers, wifi and seven nights chalet catered accommodation. Free flights with Powder White
Powder White is offering the chance to fly for free to the Alps this winter when booking a seven-night fully-catered chalet holiday before October 20. Each person will receive a flight to the value of up to £100pp in any one of 52 chalets in St Anton, Verbier, Val d’Isere, Meribel and Courchevel. The free flight offer is valid throughout the season, excluding the weeks of December 7/8, 21/22, 28/29; February 15/16 and April 12/13. There’s 20% off the accommodation price at Belle Plagne, where it now costs £175pp (reduced from £211pp) based on six people sharing a two-bedroom six/seven person apartment in Residence Les Nereides on February 1. All-inclusive French ski holidays with Alpine Elements
There’s now an all-inclusive deal for Meribel, Les Arcs, Val d’Isere, La Plagne, Morzine and Tignes. This includes flights and transfers, accommodation in either a hotel or chalet, lift pass, ski/board hire or ski/board carriage. There is one free child lift pass (6-11 years) when one adult lift pass is bought for Easter on the week commencing April 5 in Briançon (Serre-Chevalier ski area). Val Thorens from £339pp with Ski Apartments
There’s 10% off a week in Val Thorens, which now now costs £339pp (reduced from £377pp) based on four people sharing a two-bedroom four-person apartment in Village Montana. Gressoney from £629pp with Esprit
Esprit has introduced a new resort this season: Gressoney in the Aosta Valley. Snap up a pre-Christmas family ski trip here on the December 15 staying in Chalet Hotel Valverde with a chair-lift right outside the building. You can save £100 per family, with prices are £629 per adult with one child under 11 travelling free. The price includes flights from Gatwick to Turin, transfers, catered chalet accommodation, plus free children’s ski rental and free adult ski hosting. Les Coches from £395pp with Alpine365
All non-school holiday weeks are now reduced by £100pp at the three chalets in Les Coches in the Paradiski area shared with La Plagne. La Rosiere from £294pp with Ski Collection
There’s 10% off an Easter ski holiday to La Rosiere if you book by December 15. Stay at the four-star Le Lodge Hemera with access to a private indoor heated swimming-pool and a spa. Prices now from £294pp (was £327pp) for seven nights self-catering based on five people sharing a two-bedroom apartment for the week starting April 5. Self-drive packages are also available. Les Menuires for £509.15pp with Ski Amis
Spend Christmas in Chalet Lorraine, Les Menuires with 15% off the original price, which was £599pp and is now £509.15pp chalet board. The week commences December 21 and the price is based on two people sharing a twin en-suite room. Exclusive occupancy has been reduced from £5,300 to £4,505 for the week. Avoriaz apartment for £1165 with Pierre & Vacances
Stay at the Premium Residence L’Amara in car-free Avoriaz for seven nights from December 14. The apartments have a swimming-pool and spa and the price is now £1165 per apartment, based on six people sharing two bedrooms, and is down from £1294 (a saving of £129). £100pp discounts in St Anton and Morzine with VIP
There is £100 off per person with seven dates available from January to April. For example, stay half board at Hotel Montjola in St Anton (now with a kids club on site) for £849pp on the weeks commencing January 12 or 19. The price includes resort transfers and flights from Gatwick.
