Under the direction of the Environmental Services Director, the employee will have operational departmental responsibilities for all functions of the staff on their shift\.
These duties will encompass, but are not limited to:
housekeeping, set up and moves, bed control, nurse management coordination of EVS staff, and emergency response\.
Required Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent\.
Required Minimum Experience: Three years supervision in the Healthcare Environmental Services/Housekeeping field\. Experience using computers\.
Required Minimum Certification: n/a
Required Minimum Skills:
1\. Ability to train, lead, motivate and supervise personnel\.
2\. Ability to communicate both written and oral, with a diverse employee group and all levels of management\.
3\. Ability to demonstrate compliance with Wellstar/Department policies and procedures as well as all regulatory requirements\.
4\. Ability to train employees on all cleaning equipment\.
