This past weekend BSC Culinary and Atherton Appliance & Kitchens sponsored Marin Magazine’s White Hot Party at Cavallo Point Lodge in Sausalito. Attendees decked out in their finest white attire celebrated the beginning of summer which featured summer inspired foods and California wines all while enjoying views of San Francisco and listening to music from David Martin’s 9 piece band. BSC and Atherton supplied the event with a Kalamazoo Outdoor Gourmet outdoor pizza oven and a Gaucho grill.
The Kalamazoo Gaucho is inspired by traditional Argentinian style grilling. The 18 inch mechanical wheel allows precise adjustment of the grill grate and rotisserie proximity to the flame in order to expand your cooking capabilities. The Gaucho provides the tradition of wood-fire grilling but provides modern capabilities with a gas starter.
The Kalamazoo outdoor pizza oven is actually quite versatile and can cook much more than just pizza. Almost anything you can make in a conventional oven can be made in this pizza oven: sizzling shrimp, roasted asparagus, seared chicken. With this pizza oven, you get the same great taste of a wood-burning pizza oven but instead have an easy gas start.
