Kotigobba 2 is a commercial film to the core. This film will satisfy those looking to get entertained and keep a tab on getting back their money's worth. It does not test Sudeep's acting capabilities and only draws on his image and popularity. A great film for his fans and won't disappoint the regular film audience.

Director K. S. Ravikumar chooses to rehash Arjun Sarja’s Tamil film Gentleman for his Kannada debut. No, it’s not a remake, but the plots of both the films are disturbingly similar to ignore. Kotigobba 2 rests completely on Sudeep’s able shoulders as sensibility goes out for a quite walk in the woods. If you are watching this film, watch it only for Sudeep, as there’s absolutely nothing else to watch out for.

The movie on the whole is a decent entertainer high on suspense. But a few more minutes of chopping might have made a bigger impact. Overall, Mudinja Ivana Pudi is a classic KS Ravikumar, loaded with heroics, drama, thrills, comedy and an energetic performance from Sudeep.
