Raileigh really likes to create.  I love that she got this gene from me because it's so much more fun to make things with an eager little helper by my side.  Of course, she has her own artistic interests as well.  One thing that she really enjoys is painting.  However, painting is not always an option that I agree to.  She tends to make quite a mess with paint-- I have the spots on my floor to prove it!

Well, I have found the perfect alternative that I feel great pulling out for her anytime-- Aquadoodle!

Aquadoodle is an innovative product that only requires water to create fun and colorful pictures.  It's incredibly simple to use:

Fill the Aquadoodle "pen" with water.

Draw on the Aquadoodle mat with the water-filled "pen".

Like magic, watch as your drawings appear on the mat!

Let the mat dry and the drawings will disappear.

Repeat!

The Aquadoodle took years of scientific innovation and research to create.  The result is an incredibly fun and virtually mess-free product.  There are no paints or inks to deal with-- only water.  Your biggest mess might be a few stray drops of water.  This means the product is also non-toxic, making it incredibly safe for children to use.

Raileigh is infatuated with her Aquadoodle mat and I am, too!  Honestly, I think that I have spent as much time drawing on it as she has!  The mat is a generous size.  It has a colorful border with the alphabet.  The inner portion-- the Aquadoodle surface you draw on-- features four colorful sections.  When you draw on each respective section, that color shows through.  There is purple, blue, green, and red {which tends to look a bit pink}.

Aquadoodle allows Raileigh to express herself and create in a way like never before.  It provides a very similar experience to painting, but without the mess.  It doesn't take long for the water to dry and the drawings to disappear, leaving her with a blank surface to create all over again!

Just the other day, we used the Aquadoodle mat so that I could teach Raileigh how to draw a heart.  There was plenty of room for her to practice many times.  She enjoyed drawing all over the mat and watching different color hearts appear.

The mat is easy to store as well.  Once it is completely dry, you can roll it or fold it to store or take on-the-go. I suspect we'll be using this often in our homeschool adventures!

Do you have a little one in your life that would love creating with Aquadoodle?  One lucky reader is going to win an Aquadoodle Classic Mat!
