Ladies, we hate to be the bearers of devastating news, but – prepare yourselves- it seems that Ryan Gosling is planning to propose to girlfriend Eva Mendes.
According to Star magazine, the 32-year-old Drive actor has been planning his proposal for months and has recently been spotted going for secret appointments with engagement ring designer, Neil Lane.
39-year-old Eva has supposedly told Ryan that she wants to be engaged by the time she reaches her milestone 40th birthday.
Ryan is currently working on his directorial debut How to Catch a Monster, starring Mendes, but reports suggest that when production wraps, Gosling plans on whisking Eva away on a celebratory trip where he’ll get down on one knee.
And girls, it gets more painful. A source close to the pair has explained how the two aren’t shy about public displays of affection and can’t keep their hands off each other on set.
They aren’t exactly discreet,” the insider revealed. “Ryan will be totally focused, then she’ll throw him off by giving him a saucy look. The next thing you know, they’ve kicked everyone out of the room so they can ‘talk’.”
