We’ve just landed back from New York Bridal Week! The Big Apple played host to the best names in the bridal industry and hundreds of hot new trends for 2014, and Brand Director Pippa was there in person to catch all the action.

Although this is a US show, many British names were making their mark for 2014. So what are Pippa’s top picks from the catwalks?  Let’s take a look…

Art Deco elegance at Jenny Packham

The award-winning bridal designer launches her exquisite new collection for 2014 to a wowed media. Lightweight with just the right amount of sparkle and luxuriously fluid fabrics, Jenny’s designs are the epitome of bridal chic.

Romance at Watters

American bridal giants Watters showed why so many real brides all over the world love their budget-friendly, fashion-forward designs. We loved this ultra-romantic ballgown on the catwalk. Mermaid ruffle skirt, lace, sweetheart neckline – it’s got everything! A cover-worthy gown.

Glitz and glamour at Maggie Sottero

The real brides’ favourite Maggie Sottero made headlines at the New York show with their gorgeous collection full of glitzy and glamorous dresses. The perfect collection for 20s-inspired brides! And there was no let up with the accessories, either – check out that chunky cuff!

New collection at Justin Alexander

Bridal designer extraordinaire Tony Mentel gave us a sneak peek at the brand new Signature collection from Justin Alexander. Keep your eyes peeled for more styles coming soon, but we like what we see so far!

Shoe heaven

If you love shoes you need the latest collection from Freya Rose in your life! This designer’s shoes aren’t just shoes – they’re mini works of art! Showing for the first time in New York this year, Freya Rose is a British company about to take the US by storm!

Colour at Ian Stuart

If you want statement, you turn to Ian Stuart and the award-winning designer didn’t disappoint at the New York show. Show-stopper Gainsborough was among the dresses wowing the crowds with its fabulous floral embellishments and subtly coloured fabrics. How do you get all the best wedding trends for 2014 into one gown… Look no further!

Bling by Paradox

If you want your shoes to stand out from the crowd, Paradox has the answer. We fell in love with their bling-covered offerings, the perfect finishing touch for a short wedding dress. Lots of fun and totally fabulous!

Sultry silhouettes

The queen of the bridal silhouette, Suzanne Neville, has done it again with her new collection for 2014. The signature corsetry was still evident but we also loved these more gentle, flowing styles with intricate embellishments.

Colourful bridesmaids

When it comes to bridesmaids, Dessy really have got it covered. Introducing hundreds of fashion-forward colours at the show, they really do have the perfect shade for every ceremony. A real one-stop shop for maids.
