In today’s episode of Healing from Within, your host, Sheryl Glick, author of The Living Spirit: Answers for Healing and Infinite Love, a book that offers a view of universal energy and how to align to this highest source of intelligence and universal love to utilize your inner innate soul wisdom for manifesting a successful life experience, personally and collectively, welcomes special guest Betsy Whitfill. Betsy has been hosting a meditation group in Dallas, Texas since 1985. She is a writer for Share International Magazine on subjects revolving around the awareness of the interconnectedness and interdependence of all people, and the importance of that awareness for the future of humanity.
Sheryl and Betsy will discuss the momentous opportunity based on the choices that are presenting themselves to us and discovering whether we are able to live in peace, and ensure a future for humanity to evolve, mature and understand their potential as spiritual beings to live with universal wisdom and to create heaven on earth. Many people are working towards establishing a worldwide community based on our highest aspirations for freedom for a wholesome environment for purposeful living and for co-cooperation.
Betsy is inspired by the prospect of dialogue pertaining to the essential Oneness of humanity and therefore the essential Oneness of the major religious traditions, however diverse their cultural presentations.
Betsy speaks of a leader in this field of Oneness who is Benjamin Creme, a British artist and long-time student of esoteric philosophy, who has become the principal source of information about the emergence of Maitreya, the World Teacher. Throughout his early years Crème also studied various aspects of esoteric philosophy, in particular the teachings released in the late 1800s through Helena Blavatsky and the Theosophical Society, and more recently through Alice A. Bailey. Although these teachings led him to believe in the existence of the Masters of Wisdom ― a group of perfected individuals who are the custodians of the Divine Plan for this planet
In 1972, Crème announced to a skeptical world the emergence of a World Teacher and his team of enlightened workers awaited by people of every religion under various names ― the Christ, Messiah, Imam Mahdi, Krishna, Maitreya Buddha etc.
Maitreya will be the fifth Buddha of the present and his arrival will occur after the teachings (dharma) of the Buddha are no longer practiced. He is the Teacher for all humanity – those of all spiritual traditions, and those who follow no particular faith. He does not come as a religious leader, but as an educator in the broadest sense.
By educating the public as to the new information that a World Teacher might offer the public at this time when many are having their own spiritual awakening and are hopeful that the disbeliefs prejudices and limited viewpoints of ancient text from many religions allow for a new and improved look at what may have been missed by many religious and spiritual practices. Betsy and many others work toward public awareness and comprehension of what this means for humanity’s future.
Any enlightened spiritual leader to come at this time in our spiritual evolution will not come alone, but with a group of wise men, the Masters of Wisdom, who have long worked from behind the scenes as the inspirers, teachers and guides of humanity. They are returning to the everyday world to help us solve our most critical global problems.
This needed group of leaders will be characterized by a number of physical events. Earthquakes tsunamis, hurricanes, tornadoes land shifts, and natural happenings and people experiencing individual traumas and life changing challenges will lead to transitions and transformations allowing for new and improved perceptions of a more cooperative world community.
At this time a notable teaching that will be suggested to the general public will start giving the values and commandments of past religious philosophy for eliminating the ten non-virtuous deed : (killing, stealing, sexual misconduct, lying, divisive speech, abusive speech, idle speech, covetousness, harmful intent and wrong views) and emphasizing the ten virtuous deeds (the abandonment of: killing, stealing, sexual misconduct, lying, divisive speech, abusive speech, idle speech, covetousness, harmful intent and wrong views).
Betsy advocates meditation. Meditation is a method, more or less scientific (depending on the meditation), for bringing the man or woman in incarnation into contact and eventual at oneness with the Higher Self or soul.
Betsy says the time has passed for meditating alone, getting on with one’s own personal spiritual salvation, without at the same time accepting the need, the duty, of service and helping all those around you. In other words understanding your inner essence or soul shows you that the nature of the soul is to serve. The soul knows only altruistic service and comes into life to serve and share human compassion and love. The soul is carrying out the Plan of the Logos. It is a great sacrifice for the soul to do so, because it is so limited at this physical level. It gains experience at this level, but the true reason behind the incarnating process is the carrying out of the Will of the Logos through the sacrificial decision of the soul itself to grow and expand and find the joy of life.
As the energies of the incoming age of Aquarius stimulate our hearts and minds, and as we begin to make contact with that higher aspect of ourselves, the Soul, we will experience an inner prompting to be of service to others. Inevitably we are brought into contact with people and circumstances where this Soul urge can be put to practical use.
Betsy describes Transmission Meditation which may be seen as a group service activity which ‘steps down’ the great spiritual energies that continually stream into our planet. This transmission process, which makes the energies more useful to humanity, is similar to that of electrical transformers, which step down the power between generators and ordinary household outlets. These transformed spiritual energies are gradually lifting all life forms, changing our world for the better.
During Transmission Meditation, humanity’s ‘elder brothers’, known in the East as the Masters of Wisdom, direct energies from the highest spiritual planes through the energy centers (chakras) of the group members. This creates a ‘pool’ of energy that is more accessible and useful to humanity and the other kingdoms in nature. Then, based on their greater understanding of our world, the Masters re-direct this stepped-down energy to wherever it is most needed at that moment in time.

Transmission Meditation is safe, scientific, non-denominational, and unbelievably potent. It will not interfere with any other religious or spiritual practice. In fact, it will enhance your personal meditation and any other service activities in which you may be engaged. Many people find they can experience and demonstrate love more easily. Betsy Whitfill has shared her dream or hopes for working together cooperatively in communities that embrace justice, freedom, and the Age of Aquarius which we have now entered into and which predicts that the next 2,000 years will be a spiritual evolution for humanity where we will be able to access the divine energy and connection to Source, or the beginning of life as we know it, in a physical world connected to Spirit.
It becomes clearer to Sheryl as host of Healing from Within, that it is not so much as looking for or waiting for one supreme leader or human being to guide us into an age of higher thinking and love for each other and our beautiful world, but the need for each of us to awaken to that divine connection to Universal Spirit or the Divine and creator of all life and to reach within to our memories of connection to that original spiritual energetic life force and to foster the connection to each other for living according to ancient wisdom and the modern search for oneness which has always wished for us to go forward, evolve, and seek the universal values of Spirit while being grateful for opportunities to experience this physical world never forgetting our eternal source of life.
