You can make your BSES electricity bill payment online by selecting any one of the several methods available for making the payment. BSES’s online portal gives the most convenient way of making online payment of electricity bills by accepting all the types of payments, and even the portal gives soft copies of electricity bills, billing/consumption history, etc. You can pay bills online 24/7 at anytime, from anywhere. The mission of BSES is to offer consistent and quality electricity supply. BSES has invested more than Rs 4500 crore on advancement and augmenting the infrastructure, which has resulted in a record decline of AT&C losses. Bombay Suburban Electric Supply (BSES) distributes electricity to south, east, west and central Delhi, through BSES Yamuna Power Ltd. (BYPL) & BSES Rajdhani Power Ltd (BRPL). Both of these successor entities allocate electricity to 32 lakh customers in two thirds of Delhi. You should know the region under which you fall. BYPL customers are spread in nearly 14 districts across Central and East regions, while BRPL customers are spread in around 19 districts across South and West regions.

Keeping in mind the consumer needs, BSES kept open many options to accept electricity bill payment including Bill Payment Kiosk, Credit Card/Net Banking, Counters, Cheque in Mail, Drop Boxes, Pay Outlets, ITZ Cash and Pay By Phone. Moreover, to make payment rather efficiently, consumers might prefer Credit Card/Net Banking Services of either of banking unions Citibank, Punjab National Bank, SBI, Axis Bank, IDBI Bank, OBC, etc. Note that advance payments are permitted but not accept part payments.

Different ways for your Bses electricity bill payment (including online way):

1, Bill Payment Kiosk – This section provides full list of Bill Payment Kiosk locations for BYPL and BRPL. Here name and address of the locations are given. Timings for the payment are Sun – Sat; 8 am – 8 pm (excluding Public Holidays).

2, Credit Card/Net Banking - Here, click on ‘Pay Now’ button and then you will be directed to the new page. Enter your CA No. in the given box and hit ‘Go’ button. Both BYPL/BRPL customers can make the payment through Credit/Debit card at least 3 working days prior to the due date to evade late payment surcharge in their subsequent bill. BYPL customers can make 2 transactions per month per card, while BRPL customers can make 4 transactions per card per month.

If you make online payment through Credit/Debit Card, then the merchant banker will take processing charges of 0.90% and also applicable service tax of the bill amount. Suppose the bill amount is more than Rs 5000, it will be debited to your card/account.

3, Counters: You have to choose the type from Counters, Cash counter, Sky pack, Easy bill, Jeevan counters and Suvidhaa counters. Then choose the area and press ‘GO’ button. You will get the name, area, and address with pin code.

4, Cheque in Mail: You need to draw your cheque in favor of “BYPL, CRNO XXXXXXXXXX” or “BRPL, CRNO XXXXXXXXXX”. Cheque should be account payee and not post dated. Your bill payment slip should be attached to your bill payment cheque, and write BILL PAYMENT on the envelope. Mail the cheque via post or courier to the below address:

5, Drop Boxes: You are also provided the facility for drop payments through cheque at the chosen BSES drop boxes at Delhi Metro Stations. Here, in this section Metro station and Interchange station names are given with address.

6, Oxicash: Launched by Oxigen Services India Private Limited, OxiCash is unique cash based online payment solution which is intended at customers who wish to make cash payments. Oxigen Services India Private Limited & BRPL are providing OxiCash facility to BRPL customers living in South & West Delhi. This will allow them to pay their electricity bills using a next generation virtual e-wallet platform “OxiCash” and even get the option to pay their electricity bills at a neighborhood Oxigen retail store.

(a) Pay ‘on line’ and ‘on mobile’ through “OxiCash” (a next generation virtual e-wallet platform) at www.BSESdelhi.com.

How to do it?

Follow these simple steps to pay your BSES bills online through “OxiCash”:

Go to www.bsesdelhi.com, and press the “On-line bill payment” section on the website. Click on ‘Pay Now’ and then press ‘Domestic Consumers’. Read the terms and conditions and then Accept it. Mention your New K Number / CRN Number/CA No”. Choose OxiCash mode to pay current bill due amount, and hit “Pay Now”. To confirm the payment, hit ‘OK’. Then, you will obtain payment confirmation. Write down your transaction ID or take a printout of the confirmation page for future reference.

(b) Walk into any Oxigen retail store (find nearest to you on www.oxicash.in) – You can also pay electricity bills by cash at chosen Oxigen Web enabled retail stores, which will accept over the counter electricity bill payment from BSES RAJDHANI walk in customers.

7, Itz Cash Card: Another mode of payment – Itz Cash Card is secure and convenient for on-line transactions to consumers across all profiles – Social & Economic. The card comes in different denominations from Rs.250 – Rs.10,000. Itz Cash Card allows you to immediately top up your prepaid mobile accounts, shop online, book railway tickets, etc.

8, Pay by Phone: To get a registration form, call 011-39999707/39999808. Registration form is also available at their customer care centers and online (www.bsesdelhi.com). Fill up the registration form and submit it at any customer care centre/drop box to register for Pay by Phone service. Once you register, you have to provide payment instructions to BillDesk every month for SMS, Phone. Every month your bank credit card account will be auto debited for Autopay. There are different ways to pay your bill every month using Pay by phone after registration – by SMS, by phone, by internet, and by Auto Debit to your bank/credit card account.
