Reason for selling: I have had this site for nearly two years (I built it). I had big ideas to market it and grow the company, however I have no time. Website Internals
The main eCommerce website runs on a BigCommerce platform. The monthly cost is $39.95. Rather than provide a writeup of the features and benefits of BigCommerce, I will let you see the whole enchilada here.
In short, I've tested and researched most other shopping cart options, and BigCommerce gives you everything you need to run this store. BigCommerce has FANTASTIC help and support. It's designed for the beginner and expert alike.
There are over 450 products currently listed, complete with full size and thumbnail photos. Products are assigned to sections for easy browsing. Every product related page has Add to Cart buttons along with quantity desired. Many products have original product descriptions written for better search engine placement.
SEO (Search Engine Optimization) has been applied to many of the products. Most all of the first aid kits and survival kits have had custom descriptions written for them.
Google Analytics has been incorporated on every page. All you need to do is supply your account number.
The eCommerce site uses SSL on the View Cart and all checkout pages, standard HTTP on the rest of the pages to maintain good performance. The eCommerce store is 100% fully PCI compliant, which means it passes the rigorous checks for security as required by the credit card companies.
Drop Shippers
OHSafety.com has partnered with three separate drop shippers. They DO NOT charge monthly or transaction fees and the prices are real wholesale instead of what a lot of "drop shippers" offer. Both have well designed and easy to use order entry panels for placing your orders. Returns are handled by them.
When orders come in through the site, payments are deposited in your account and you then place the order with the drop shipper. You can choose to set up credit terms with the supplier, or pay for each order by credit card.
Once the sale is completed, I will work with you to set up accounts with these drop shippers. All you will need is a business (sole proprietorship, LLC, etc) for the application.
Current Cash Flow
Note that this website is not priced based on cash flow. The pricing is based on development time, professionalism, features, content, and other construction-related things. As for direct sales, I have only made a few sales on the eCommerce site.
This site has earned a gross of about $850 since July 2013. About $170 of profit.
As far as the marketing, once I built it, I found myself having to keep focused on day-to-day life. In short, I have not marketed it. BUT YOU CAN! Out of the box, the site is set up with tools to export your products to the following shopping sites.

This makes it totally hands-off for you in terms of keeping up with what's in stock. You DO NOT HAVE TO MANAGE OR UPLOAD any datafeeds yourself! I will set it up for free, but the monthly cost is about $35. I highly recommend this.
