Hello everyone,
This is Nirmala, part-time (but a devoted) blogger :).
I love to write a lot on my fascinating topics, and thus I’ve chosen the blogging as the profession.
I blog at MyMagicFundas.com. It is a multi-niche blog where I write about Online money making ideas, Social media, blogging and tech related stuff.
I love blogging the most as it helps me to connect with like-minded people and experts in this field. Besides, it aids to enhance my marketing skills as well.
I’m an active person who hates to sit idle. I’m leading a comfortable life out of blogging & writing and taking care of my family in a well-manner.
I have heard that you are a graduate of Electronics and Communication Engineering. Why you choose blogging as a career?
Yes! I’m an engineering graduate, got married after my studies were completed. I had some personal constraints and thus denied accepting the very few offers that came on my way from the IT concerns.
I’ve decided to make use of my academics & writing skills and started to hunt for the work from home jobs. My search got ended with an unfailing website iWriter.com. I’ve crafted more than 200 articles (on my preferred topics) for various clients and there I got an opportunity to write the content with SEO touch.
Then I started to blog in Blogspot domains and met some monetary benefits. I faced traffic drop issues due to Google animals and then I met Atish through Facebook at the right time. He inspired me a lot to blog @ tech niche and helped me to found “MyMagicFundas”
Then I’m on track to blog in an aggressive manner and now for the past 2 years, blogging has become a passion for me. But, still I’m trying to perform blogging in a professional manner like the experts in the blogosphere.
MyMagicFundas is a very interesting name. How did you get the idea to select a blog by this name? When a blogger buy a domain, what should he/she keep in his/her mind?
Honestly speaking, the name “MyMagicFundas” was chosen by Atish. When I entered blogging in the WordPress domain, I had nothing in mind, and he was the one who named my blog.
But now, I’m familiar with the concepts of choosing the domain name, hosting, and theme for the blog.
Every blogger should keep in mind that the domain name should be trendy, short, crisp and easy to remember.
Besides, they should choose the reliable hosting service to host their blog on the web and opt the SEO friendly theme with easy navigation.
Currently, how many blog are you maintaining?
At present, I manage 2 blogs MyMagicFundas and Litabi (Joint venture with Atish)
As a blogger, I know blogging is not an easy job. What’s your strategy to create popular blog/blogs?
Yes! Blogging is not an easy job! We have to handle and learn a hell lot of matters on a daily basis.
I follow the two fundamental strategies, content marketing, and SEO to make my blog stand out.
Yes, they are the heart and brain of the blogging; both are interconnected as well.
What type of strategy do you think is effective to bring traffic to your blog?
SEO link building is my primary strategy which is more efficient in bringing traffic to my blog.
I prefer organic traffic, and thus I’m focusing on SEO. I’m using Long Tail Pro to implement the perfect on-page SEO by adding LSI keywords and building reliable backlinks to please the search engines.

I never compromise the content quality as it is more important to stay authoritative in the eyes of both audiences and search engines that help me to drive traffic to my blog.
Some bloggers are working from home; some bloggers are working from their office. What you prefer?
Blog from home has both pros and cons. The primary benefit is flexibility; we can work whenever we want.
On the other hand, if we blog at an office, distraction is very less as we work in a dedicated area with more focus.
Home has a lot of interruptions! Another major downside of performing blogging at home is, explaining to the family members about the need for spending quality time in blogging. They do ask a variety of questions that bother me at times.:(
So, I wish to blog from an office (dedicated place along with co-workers to discuss some ideas). Thus, I requested Mr. Pradeep of HBB @ ShoutMeet to consider hiring me as a staff if he opens his new office for blogging.
Would you please share some ways how bloggers can make money from their blogs?
There are many ways to earn from blogging!
Offering the service (SEO, theme customization, blog consultation, Blogspot to WordPress migration, writing and much more).

As of now, I have Adsense ads to monetize my blog. I do blog consultation for few newbie and also offering my writing service for some clients.
Have you joined any affiliate marketing program? What’s your strategy to do affiliate marketing?
No, I haven’t started Affiliate Marketing till now. I have been advised by several bloggers to get into AM (specifically Ankit Singla of BTT) but, I’m yet to involve myself on that blog monetization method.
I have been using some trustworthy software and services; soon I’ll become an affiliate for those tools with a comprehensive content.

What to say? You’re doing a wonderful job on your blog Moumita. I know that you’re an active blogger who would like to invest your hard work to perk up your blog.
I have heard a few good words about you from Atish as well.
I would suggest you to switch over to a professional look SEO responsive theme to grab more eyeballs. Also, don’t use multi-colors in the theme sidebar and widgets as it would seem immature. Use any two color combination in your theme.
Write in-depth posts and update your blog in a consistent manner to gain a huge readership. Do guest blogging as it would enhance your credibility. I think that you’re already active on Social media, keep doing it.
I would advise you to form a supporting community for your blog to progress your brand.
