I agree with the fact that you may not be able to test every product and then recommend. However, try to use a number of products, and then write their reviews. You will surely get more sales if you do this. It’s my personal experience that when you recommend products after using them, people are more interested in buying that product from your link.
Increase targeted traffic
As I said earlier that you need to increase your traffic and that too targeted. Targeted means the traffic that is actually interested in your content and products you promote.
If you are getting traffic from some unethical ways or you are buying traffic, you would hardly get any sales.
Email Marketing
Email Marketing is the superb way to promote affiliate products. Just make sure you have a good email list with you. If you don’t have good list, start building that. I noticed that your email subscribers are more interested in the products you recommend because they trust you as a genuine source of information.
While writing the content of Emails try to write attention grabbing titles, and talk more about the benefits users get from that product.

Choose the best Affiliate Network
Rather than signing up to separate affiliate programs of various companies try joining some affiliate networks and then join various merchants that you find on those networks.
I suggest joining affiliate network because you reach threshold limit quickly, and you get the payment fast.
Let me explain this, suppose you are an affiliate of Hostgator, Bluehost, and Genesis separately by joining their affiliate programs. And, you get 1 sale for each in a month. But, still, you won’t get the payment because you haven’t reached the threshold limit of each.
On the other hand, when you join an affiliate program like ShareAsale and join all of those 3 merchants. And if you get 1 sale each for HG, Bluehost, and Genesis, all the amounts will be added to your ShareAsale account. Collectively, they will make up to the threshold, and you get the payment instantly.
There are many good affiliate networks like CJ, ShareAsale, Vcommission, ClickBank, etc.
Even commission rates differ most of the times. I joined Bluehost affiliate program directly, and they offered 60 USD per sale. But, later when I joined Bluehost via CJ, I started getting 90 USD per sale. So it is better to join Affiliate networks to increase your affiliate earning.
Post Affiliate links in Social Media
Most of the bloggers make a mistake by not sharing their affiliate links on social media. They only use them on their blog which is fine, but you must share your affiliate links on social sites as well. Yes, you must do it but don’t spam. Share links when required.
Suppose I buy a Digital Camera from Amazon, and I liked it very much, then I can share on social media about it, and leaving my affiliate link as well. So that if someone likes the camera, he can use the link to visit the sales page. If he buys that, I will get the commission.
Offer bonus
This is something that bloggers are doing nowadays, and earning a lot. For example, if you are good at setting up blogs, you can offer something like “use my affiliate link to buy hosting from Bluehost, and get your blog set up done free”.
This method is actually working well nowadays. Many blogger friends of mine come to me saying that they will buy using my links, but I have to help them set up or migrate their blog.
