This is an opportunity to advance an Antimicrobial Stewardship Program
RESPONSIBILITIES:
90% Clinical and 10% Operational
Advance the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program - make it your own and really develop it how you feel it should be
Further develop daily drug therapy monitoring and consultation to pharmacy and medical staff with an emphasis on anti-infective therapy -- create a very efficient system
Set up antibiogram trends to be tracked, antimicrobial prescribing patterns evaluated and feedback to prescribers as well as ongoing education on antimicrobial use provided to pharmacy, medical and other healthcare providers
Review formulary management through the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to antimicrobial utilization as part of the effort for continuous quality improvement in anti-infective use
Preceptor for Pharmacy Residents & Students
Clinical research
Committee involvement: Infection Prevention, Sepsis, Core Measures, P&T (annual report)
High involvement with Infectious Disease Specialists & Medical Residents
Rounding with I.D. Team
ICU Rounds
Antibiogram
Class reviews for all of the antibiotics
COMPENSATION:
Known for their very competitive salary ranges ( range is from mid $70's/hour and up based on experience), plus very generous Relocation Package - onsite interview costs paid - Benefits with 401K plus Top Retirement Program
