Our busy physical therapy clinic in Menifee, CA is seeking a full time Physical Therapist. This position plans and administers medically prescribed physical therapy treatment for patients suffering from injuries, or muscle, joint, nerve or bone diseases, to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability. Qualified candidates should be able to work and thrive both on own initiative and in a team environment. Position will work under direct supervision and instruction of our Director of Physical Therapy.
We are seeking a self-motivated, dependable, and conscientious individual. Ideal candidate will have a positive “can-do” attitude and a caring, kind spirit. Job duties will include, but are not limited to- reviewing physician referrals and evaluating patients to determine required treatment plans, testing and measuring strength, motor skills, functional capacity, sensory development, etc. and recording findings, plan and prepare thorough treatment programs based on evaluation of patient data, administering manual therapy, instruct, motivate and assist patients with various exercises and in the use of personal assistant and supportive devices, record treatment, response, and progress in WebPT EMR system, supervising aquatic therapy as needed, applying modalities such as ultrasound, whirlpool, and e-stim, cleaning all equipment and work areas after treatment, conducting lectures and training programs for meetings as directed, etc.
