Five finalists will pitch at the inaugural WITovation Entrepreneur Bootcamp being held on October 18.
Representing a range of business ideas in the digital travel space, they comprise start-ups such as ComeSingapore, Forget Boundaries, Yopir, Tourz and Eco Travel.
Each company will have the opportunity to be mentored by a panel of mentors and advisors before pitching for the right to present their ideas at the Grand Final Pitch at the WIT Conference the following day on October 19.
The WITovation Entrepreneur Bootcamp, aimed at driving innovation and inspiring entrepreneurs in the digital travel space, will be held at the Singapore Tourism Board Auditorium, Level 2, Tourism Court located at 1, Orchard Spring Lane.
All WIT delegates are entitled to attend the Bootcamp. Non-WIT delegates pay an entrance fee of S$180 to attend the day’s programme which features a keynote talk by archangel investor, serial entrepreneur and CEO of Everbread, Morten Lund, one of the first investors in Skype as well as 50 other start-ups, and sessions on entrepreneurship from successful travel start-ups across the region and innovations to come in the online travel industry.
Following the Bootcamp, TNooz, represented by editor Kevin May, will hold #tcamp 6 at a nearby venue between 6 and 8pm.
