Be still, my heart- a cafe is opening up in New York City and it’s all about our favorite girls- The Golden Girls! The creator of the cafe, Michael, is more than just a fan of the TV show- he was actually very close friends with the late, great Rue McClanahan A.K.A. ‘Blanche’. He is honoring his friend by opening up “Rue La Rue Cafe” in uptown Manhattan. The cafe is set to swing open its doors in early September. This eatery will be amazing because Michael is actually the executor of Rue’s estate and he is reportedly going to decorate the cafe’s walls with beautiful memorabilia from Rue’s career and personal life.
