Saturday It becomes progressively cold and windy throughout the day today. As outbreaks of rain in the far south push north, there is a risk of some snow across southern parts of Wales into the Midlands. Some accumulation is likely across the Brecon Beacons, otherwise perhaps just a covering to come. Later in the afternoon. The rain becomes mix with sleet and snow across the far south, leading to some accumulations over the hills. Occasional wintry showers are expected to affect eastern parts of Scotland and England with most central and western areas fair and dry while Northern Ireland could see some light rain. Maximum temperatures of 2 to 4 Celsius with a significant wind chill factor.

Saturday Night During evening. There is a risk of some sleet and light snow south of the M4 corridor. Overnight, this becomes confined to Sussex and Kent, again with most of the accumulations over high ground. Stays quite breezy the course of the night with occasional snow showers still around North Sea coasts with rain and snow across Northern Ireland. Elsewhere it will be dry with a penetrating frost. It will also become quite icy from the south Midlands southward. Expect minimum temperatures of 1 to -5 Celsius.

Sunday A cold and brisk northeast wind will make it feel well below freezing across England and Wales today. There is a risk of some further snow across Kent in the morning and the first half of the afternoon then expect a few snow showers. Scattered, snow showers are expected around eastern coasts of England while an area of rain moves in across Ireland perhaps preceded by a bit of snow across western Scotland and the extreme west of Wales. There is a risk of some snow across western Scotland into Wales. This evening further wintry showers around eastern coasts of England. Little change is expected tonight we expect a hard and locally severe frost was much of central, eastern and northern England along with Scotland. Maximum temperatures of 1 to 3 Celsius.

Monday There is uncertainty in regard to Monday's forecast. As an area of rain in the west will try and push the east into colder air. On its leading edge expect an area of snow that could become heavy as it pushes eastward some time during the day. This is presently most likely to affect north eastern parts of England, the Midlands and then eastern and south eastern areas of England. After rain clears Northern Ireland early in the morning, becomes dry and sunnier. Another very cold night to come with a widespread, sharp frost. Maximum temperatures of 0 to 2 Celsius.
