Friday A breezy and much cooler day across the country today. Outbreaks of rain across parts of East Anglia and the southeast will clear this morning. For much of the country it will be a day of sunny spells, variable cloud and scattered, mainly light showers. Few though could be heavy across Northern Ireland and parts of Scotland. The southwest of England should escape with a dry, sunny day. Expect maximum temperatures of 9 to 12 Celsius.

Friday Night This evening any showers should soon fade most parts having some fine sunshine to in the day. Overnight most parts of the country will remain dry, and with mostly clear skies and lighter winds, expect a frost to develop. There is a risk of some rain or showers near eastern coasts of Scotland tonight. Expect minimum temperatures of -1 to 2C.

Saturday Feeling chiefly the brisk north wind across the country today. Most places will start the day dry with sunny spells but cloud and showers are likely to develop through the morning, becoming more widespread in the afternoon, and some of these will be locally heavy. Northern Ireland and Kent though should be fine, dry and mostly sunny. While rain spreads in across northern Scotland this evening and tonight, and he showers across the rest of the country will fade to clear spells. An even colder night to come a widespread frost across England and Wales. Expect high temperatures of 8 to 11 Celsius.

Sunday A windy day to come across northern Britain, especially across Scotland. Outbreaks of rain and showers are expected across Scotland, northern England and Northern Ireland. Most of Wales and central, southern parts of England should have a dry day with the best the sunshine in the south. In the evening a band of light rain across northern England and Wales will become even more patchy as it slips into central parts of England during the night. High temperatures of 8 to 13 Celsius.
