Over the last year, we’ve been working hard with our clients all over the world to create campaigns and strategies that stand out within the creative social and digital marketplace. We’re very proud of our work, and we’re always excited when someone else recognises it too, giving us the wider industry stamp of approval

So, we were delighted to discover that we had received an amazing five Official Honourees and two Nominees in the prestigious Webby Awards. Our work for YouTube, #OurstoLose picked up two honours in Best use of Social Media and Public Service and Activism, We Are Tennis Fan Academy for BNP Paribas was honored in the Online Video – Performance & Craft: Best Editing category and Juventus: #SeAndiamoInFinale gained honoree status in Social/Sports.

The Nominees – selected as one of the five best pieces of work in the world in their categories – are in contention for both The Webby and The Webby People’s Voice Award – and to be in with a chance of winning the latter, we need your help. adidas: Gamedayplus: Social/Sports Nominee

adidas: Gamedayplus was launched for the 2014/15 season, giving fans a unique UEFA Champions League magazine series for the Vice generation on YouTube. We gave fans behind-the-scenes access to their favorite players’ golf clubs, tattoo parlours and even their homes, with each match week dropping more exclusive content straight to subscribers. The show captured the imagination of viewers, with over 12 million views and counting, has been streamed across adidas stores and appeared in media all around the world.

Milka: Christmas Express: Web: Best User Experience Nominee

In order to further establish a connection between Milka and Christmas, Milka wanted to re-activate the tradition of sending Christmas wishes, often neglected in recent years. To do this, we created an interactive experience that enabled users to customize a digital letter to be sent to their loved ones and to follow it, from design to receipt, via an animated 3D fairytale: Christmas Express.

Wins at the Webbys would help boost an already fantastic year for We Are Social. We’ve been listed as one of WARC’s top digital agencies and picked up three Guardian MAA Best Awards, our #HappyBirdDay activation for Twitter has been listed as the FWA’s mobile site of the day and we’ve picked up two awards at France’s Grand Prix du Brand Content for We Are Tennis Fan Academy and #PaperTweet for Action Against Hunger.

Not to mention shortlists in The Shorty Awards, Brand Republic Awards and Digiday Content Marketing Awards for our work with adidas and YouTube. We’re hoping that the rest of 2016 will prove to be just as successful, so if you like our work, our teams all over the world would love your support.
