IDP Landscape is delighted to announce the appointment of William Wheeler as Landscape Design Director. William joins the landscape team from LDA Design bringing with him 30 years of professional experience across a wide spectrum of work areas. He is a very assured and creative designer, winning awards for his work, and has been engaged on some of the country’s largest Nationally Significant Infrastructure projects.
William will work alongside our Managing Director in Landscape, Kevin Charsley, to offer our clients a strong design ethos in landscape and masterplanning, and to take the business forward into exciting new opportunities.
IDP Landscape is currently involved in a 750 unit regeneration scheme in central Birmingham working alongside IDP Architects, and an EIA scheme to redevelop a 40ha employment site in Kent. We offer strategic and landscape planning advice at all scales across a wide range of market sectors. Our growing team has a wide range of expertise which includes masterplanning; detailed design and implementation; green infrastructure; public realm schemes; urban regeneration projects; new and historic park refurbishment; extensive seascape/landscape and visual impact assessments; development capacity studies and assessments for residential, retail and commercial developments.
