Building on the success of past editions, the 2014 Gold Coast Creative once again celebrates the cultural and creative growth of the Gold Coast by highlighting the region’s diverse mix of artistic industries, talented individuals and up-and-coming creatives.

The 220-page magazine proves that the Gold Coast has much to offer in terms of unique design strengths and creative diversity by featuring emerging artists, groundbreaking ideas, innovative community projects and profiles of leaders in the local creative industry.

A joint initiative between Queensland College of Art (QCA), Griffith University Gold Coast campus, Sanctuary Cove Publishing and the City of Gold Coast, the annual publication has become a valuable resource for staff, students, supporters and stakeholders.

Associate Professor Donal Fitzpatrick, Deputy Director, QCA (Gold Coast) is delighted by the ongoing content and quality of the magazine.

“The launch of the latest edition of Gold Coast Creative magazine is always met with enthusiasm from the students and the Gold Coast creative community in general. This year marks the fifth issue and we have built a daring idea into a Gold Coast tradition,” said Donal.

“Alongside the work of our emerging graduates are profiles of our cutting-edge alumni and businesses devoted to creative innovation in South-East Queensland.

“As always, the colourful pages of the Gold Coast Creative magazine showcase the region as an exciting and dynamic place to live, work and study.”

In addition to an inspiring selection of editorial, photography, typography and design, the 2014 edition features the second annual QCA Gold Coast Outstanding Creative Achievement awards. Proudly sponsored by the City of Gold Coast, these awards recognise five finalists in each category Industry and Alumni– who have made a significant contribution to the region’s cultural landscape.

The 2014 Gold Coast Creative is now available for purchase at select news agencies in Queensland, NSW and Victoria. RRP $14.95
