2016 is upon us, and with that a bunch of new movies to look forward to.
Out of the 289 movies (as of publication date) being released this year, here are 20 worth watching, based on their movie trailers.
13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi
Release Date: January 15
Based on a true story, An American Ambassador is killed during an attack at a U.S. compound in Libya as a six member security team fight to defend the American diplomatic compound
The 5th Wave
Release Date: January 22
Aliens attacking the earth and waves, and each wave being more deadlier that the last.
Kung Fu Panda 3
Release Date: January 29
An animated movie of Po the panda. In this movie Po’s long-lost father appears, and must train a village full of pandas.
Deadpool
Release Date: February 12
A former Special Forces Operative turns mercenary after a rogue Experiment gives him healing powers, hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life
Gods of Egypt
Release Date: February 26
A mortal man joins a mythical god on a quest through Egypt to rescue his true love.

The Divergent Series: Allegiant
Release Date: March 18
This is the third part in the series. The group is taken into protective custody by a mysterious agency known as the Bureau of Genetic Welfare, where they have to decide who they can trust.
Batman Vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice
Release Date: March 25
Fearing the actions of Superman left unchecked, Batman takes on Superman, while the world decides what kind of a hero the world really needs, Lex Luthor creates Doomsday.
The Jungle Book
Release Date: April 15
Disney’s live action movie where an orphan boy is raised in the jungle with the help of a pack of wolves, a bear, and a black panther.
Captain America: Civil War
Release Date: May 6

Ghostbusters

Gilbert reunites with Yates and others when ghosts invade Manhattan and she and her team have to save the world.
