Xavier Portela is a Belgian/Portuguese photographer who lives in Brussels. He originally started his professional career as multimedia developer working for different Belgian studios. At this time, photography wasn’t more than just a hobby. In 2012, he took the plunge to become a full-time photographer and filmmaker. From pre-production to the final product, Xavier Portela handles various types of assignments in both domains. His passion for photography goes along very well with his travels. On various trips, he captures the vibrant life in big cities or he goes out into nature to take amazing snapshots of breathtaking landscapes. A few examples of his vivid imagery can be found below.
