DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Just when you thought the spring weather was here to stay, snow pops back up in the Storm Team 2 forecast.
While temperatures should be close to 60 degrees Tuesday, Wednesday is another story.
Storm Team 2 Meteorologist Tara Hastings says it is another combination of rain and snow, depending on where you live.
“We should see rain moving into the area after midnight into early Wednesday morning,” said Hastings. “As the cold front moves in, we’ll change over to some snow showers and flurries. The farther north you live, the better chance for some accumulation.”
Hastings say any accumulation in the Dayton area should be minor. Our most northern counties may see heavier amounts.
Wednesday night temperatures will plunge to around 10 degrees, so wet surfaces could freeze over.
“Temperatures will quickly rebound. We should be back into the 50s on Friday,” said Hastings.
