A fire destroyed a barn at the True Farms on Route 246 in Perry on Wednesday and sent one firefighter to the hospital.
Fire companies from six fire departments from Wyoming and Livingston County’s fought the blaze for over four hours before getting it under control.
Cause of the blaze was a malfunctioning hay chopper which was being used to proceess hay for feeding cows. The building and its contents were a total loss. Estimated loss was $103,000.
