Today’s Sunday Snapshot comes from Joella, a British expat living and working in Beijing with her American husband. Since 2006 she’s worked in the USA, Korea, Venezuela, the UK and now China! She blogs about their current adventures in Beijing and beyond at This Beijing Life.
“This photo was taken on top of Hua Shan mountain in China. We visited Hua Shan as a side trip from Xi’an. While we were there the pollution was horrific (way worse than anything we’ve experienced in Beijing) so we went up the mountain in search of fresh air. We did a lovely hike between the four peaks of the mountain and, on the way, spotted this little wooden structure out in the distance. With the sun shining down, no crowds and just a hint of smog, it made for a beautiful sight!”
Where are some of your favourite hikes?
