Early bird prices for Surrey festival of triathlon
The Vachery Triathlon Festival, based in Cranleigh, Surrey has today opened for 2014 entry with some special early bird prices that are available for a limited time only. The race has been set for the 20th July 2014, with distances including Super Sprint, Olympic and the marquee Middle distance race all now open for entry, there is a race for all experiences and fitness levels.
The 2013 edition saw over 800 triathletes race through the private spring-fed lake, before hitting the partially closed roads of the Surrey-Hills (home of the Prudential 100 ride and Tour of Britain) and then returning to the Vachery Estate to complete a closed road run. The race received excellent feedback from competitors, who loved the family feel of the race, whilst retaining a ‘big event atmosphere’ and many are promising to return for the 2014 edition. The elite race was dubbed the ‘Battle of Britain’ by the media, as Joe Skipper and Lucy Gossage claimed the inaugural titles in 2013 against a very strong pro field. They have both declared their intentions to return to the race in 2014 and defend their titles.
The Vachery Triathlon Festival has all the ingredients to make it a ‘must do’ race next year and an instant classic addition to the calendar.
The race organisers have set up a special super early bird entry, only open till the 17th August, and with the race expected to sell-out for 2014, the advice is to enter early to avoid disappointment and grab yourself a bargain race entry:
