2014-01-06

Just two months removed from Bryan Haase and Pete Williams winning their respective divions of the 2013 season, the Palm Beach County Golf Association has announced its 2014 season schedule.

The 2014 PBCGA Championship season will kick off March 15-16 at the Spring Four Ball event held at the Santa Lucia River Club in Port St. Lucie and will wrap up once again at the Tour Championship presented by Tiger Woods in November.

Like in years past, some of the best courses in our area will host events on the PBCGA schedule. The Palm Beach International event will be moving to the Fazio course at PGA National in 2014. Last year the event was held at Ironhorse Country Club. Other area courses that will host events include Dye Preserve, both of Jonathans Landing's Old Trail courses, BallenIsles, and Trump National Jupiter.

Three events on the schedule have not been given official dates and locations yet. The "Pricey" Par Three Shootout, hosted by Jupiter Island resident Nick Price, will once again be held at Jupiter Dunes but has not been assigned a date yet. The Palm Beach Open and season ending Tour Championship have not had their dates or locations announced yet. In 2013 the Palm Beach Open was held at Bear Lakes Country Club while the Tour Championship was held at the Fox Club.
