KNOXVILLE (WATE) – Many will be celebrating Christmas this weekend. There will also be benefit concerts raising money for Sevier County.

All Weekend

Knoxville Symphony Orchestra Holiday Concert

The music group will present “A World of Joy” for its 30th Clayton Holiday Concert. There will be special guests during the performance, including the Knoxville Choral Society and GO! Contemporary Dance Works. There will be four performances at the Knoxville Civic Auditorium: Friday at 7:30 p.m., Saturday at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., and Sunday at 3 p.m. Tickets are available from $16-$47 for adults and from $8.50-$24 for children.

Friday

A Very Kacey Christmas Tour

Country singer Kacey Musgraves will be singing at holiday classics and more at the Tennessee Theatre. The concert starts at 7:30 p.m. For tickets, visit the Tennessee Theatre’s box office or website.

Tour de Lights

The bike parade will go through downtown Knoxville, 4th and Gill, and Old City. Participants will have lights, costumes and decorations. The route is 5 miles and will take an hour to ride. Streets will be closed for the parade. There will be hot cocoa and treats from Mast General Store and Three Rivers Market. Prizes will be given at 8:15 p.m. for best costume, best bike or trailer, best helmet, best group theme and more. The parade will start at Market Square at 7 p.m.

Friday-Saturday

Journey to Bethlehem

South Harriman Baptist Church is presenting the event. Drivers can see 20 scenes for the story of birth of Jesus. The event is from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on each day.

Saturday

Gatlinburg Mountain Tough Benefit Festival

The Mountain Tough benefit is hosted by Ole Smoky Moonshine, Yee Haw Brewing Company, Gatlinburg Convention and Visitors Bureau and Music City Roots. Zac Brown Band will headline the concert. Other musicians to perform, include Jim Lauderdale, Sam Bush, Derek St. Holmes, Jason D. Williams, Rob Ickes and Trey Hensley, Randy Kohrs, Sarah Potenza, Moe Pitney and Chelle Rose.

The all day festival will be held at 705 Parkway.

Dandridge Christmas Parade

The city in Jefferson County is celebrating Christmas. The parade will start at Maury Middle School at 1 p.m.

Sunday

Westwood Holiday Open House

The historic home will have free tours and holiday refreshments. Visitors can see how people celebrated Christmas in 1890. Tours will be from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Parking is available at Laurel Church of Christ at 3457 Kingston Pike.

Smokies Strong Benefit Relief

The event will be held at the Hard Rock Cafe in Pigeon Forge. Kaitlyn Baker, Stephen Goff and The Royals will perform. Santa will be giving gifts to children from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. The event is from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Knoxville Track Club Leftover Run

The run will be at Tyson Park from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The run costs $5 and runners will receive shirts and more.
