CHATTANOOGA (WATE) – A man on the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s Top 10 Most Wanted list was captured Friday.
TBI Special Agents found Christopher Christian Padgett,22, at a home in Chattanooga. The suspect was wanted by TBI and the Chattanooga Police Department. Investigators say he cut off his GPS monitoring device earlier in the month. He was expected in court in Hamilton County. However, a jury convicted Padgett of first degree murder and especially aggravated robbery even though he did not show up.
Padgett is being held at Hamilton County Jail.
