GATLINBURG (WATE) – TripAdvisor has named Gatlinburg one of its “24 Beautiful Little Mountain Towns Across America,” and is asking readers to vote for their favorite mountain town.
“Gatlinburg is practically synonymous with Great Smoky Mountains National Park and those iconic misty mountain ridges,” reads TripAdvisor’s article. The list also names Bryson City, North Carolina, which is also in the Smokies, just across the state line.
Lake Placid, New York; Hood River, Oregon; Big Bear Lake, California; and Fayetteville, Arkansas, are also among those featured on the list.
