NASHVILLE (WATE) – The nominees for the CMA Awards was announced Wednesday on “Good Morning America.” The Country Music Association is celebrating 50 years.

East Tennessee native Kelsea Ballerini was nominated for “Female Vocalist of the Year” along with Miranda Lambert, Maren Morris, Kacey Musgraves and Carrie Underwood. Also, Ballerini was nominated for “New Artist of the Year,” with Brothers Osborne, Maren Morris, Old Dominion and Cole Swindell.

The nominees for “Entertainer of the Year” include Garth Brooks, Luke Bryan, Chris Stapleton, Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban.

Dierks Bentley joins Eric Church, Tim McGraw, Chris Stapleton and Keith Urban as a nominee for “Male Vocalist of the Year.”

Nominees for “Music Video of the Year” include Cam’s “Burning House,” Chris Stapleton’s “Fire Away,” Tim McGraw’s “Humble and Kind,” Eric Church’s “Record Year” and Dierks Bentley’s “Somewhere on a Beach.”

The nominees for “Album of the Year” include Dierks Bentley, Maren Morris, Eric Church, Keith Urban and Carrie Underwood.

Joey and Rory, Maddie and Tea, Brothers Osborne, Dan and Shay, and Florida Georgia Line are the nominees for “Vocal Duo of the Year.”

The nominees for “Musician of the Year” include Jerry Douglas, Paul Franklin, Dann Huff, Brent Mason and Derek Wells.

The “Single of the Year” nominees are Thomas Rhett’s “Die a Happy Man,” Tim McGraw’s “Humble and Kind,” Maren Morris’ “My Church,” Chris Stapleton’s “Nobody to Blame” and Eric Church’s “Record Year.”

Morgane Stapleton with Chris Stapleton were nominated for “Musical Event of the Year” along with Luke Bryan featuring Karen Fairchild, Chris Young duet with Cassadee Pope, Dierks Bentley featuring Elle King, and Keith Urban featuring Carrie Underwood.
