Story by Kendall Jones, via Washington Beer Blog.

The big daddy just got bigger. The three-day Washington Brewers Festival is the state’s largest beer event of the year, with dozens of breweries serving hundreds of beers to thousands of festivalgoers. This year, the annual Fathers Day brewfest is getting even bigger. In all, 88 of Washington’s breweries will pour more than 300 different beers at the event (the list of breweries is below).

Once again, Marymoor Park will host the festival, which takes place Friday June 13 through Sunday June 15 (Fathers Day weekend). Tickets are already on sale. Proceeds from this event benefit the Washington Beer Commission. Operating as a commission within the Washington State Department of Agriculture, the Washington Beer Commission is the only official organization of its kind in the nation and is tasked with promoting Washington-brewed beers and the state’s 200+ breweries.

2014 WASHINGTON BREWERS FESTIVAL

The Festival kicks off on Friday, June 13, from 4pm to 9:30pm, with more than 70 of breweries pouring beer for the 21+ crowd. Kids are welcome for the rest of the weekend, but Friday  night is for grownups only.

All 88 breweries will there on Saturday and Sunday pouring more than 300 locally brewed craft beers Along with all the great beer, there will also be live music, great food from local food trucks, and fun stuff for the kids.
