Here is the 2016 listing of beer at the ballpark, a guide to finding good beer at Safeco Field. This list is compiled from information provided by the Seattle Mariners, Safeco Field’s concessionaire, and the distributors who provide the beer. Also, plenty of personal research. This is the closest thing you’ll find to an official list of good beer at the ballpark.
If you’re headed to a Mariners game this summer, think of this as your personal beer guide. Bookmark it on your phone. We don’t talk about any of the big, mega-brand beers. Just the good stuff.

The debate will continue this summer about which MLB ballpark has the best selection of craft beer. For those of you researching that topic, behold the glory that is beer at Safeco Field. Cheers to the Seattle Mariners for their commitment to good beer.
2016 Safeco Field Beer Highlights
Sour Beer. This year you can get sour beer at the ballpark. On draft, Schooner Exact Brewing’s Jawja Peach Sour (two locations). As far as we know, Safeco Field is the first MLB ballpark to ever offer sour beer as part of the regular lineup.
Cans of good beer are now available at your seats (vendors) and at all Good Hops locations. It’s an impressive list. It includes Victory Brewing’s Summer Love – a beer you won’t find anywhere else around Seattle but at the ballpark.
Cask beer is available at every game this year. As in years past, two cask beers will be poured (pumped) from beer engines at the specially designed, cask-conditioned beer station (section 129). The beer selection will change with each home stand.
Gluten-free beer is now available at the ballpark. Seattle’s own Ghostfish Brewing (located right down the street from the ballpark) won two of the three medals awarded in the Gluten-Free Beer category at the 2015 Great American Beer Festival. The pale ale is available in 16-oz cans at the ballpark.

Canned Beer
Notes – The generic concession stands (hot dogs, peanuts, etc) have good beer in cans (limited selection), but not on draft. Beer Portables aka Good Hops beer stations. Vendors means “at your seat from the beer vendor.” Each beer vendor selects his own beer to sell; if you see something on this list you want, ask for it so they know what people want to buy.
