Hi all,

i have a mascerated tear in my perroneal tendon (ankle) as well as a sprain and tendinitis on the other ankle. I’ve undergone and am in store for several treatments, but the bottom line is that while I can walk and jog in a straight line, lateral movement dependent on ankle stability is iffy, and planting hard can easily result in me falling, even with a brace on. Otherwise fitness is acceptable as I have been filling the cardio gaps in running and sprinting with spinning on a bike.

this being the case, I feel that trying to spring off the X may be counterproductive and result in me falling and almost certainly losing the fight.

it is what it is (sub-optimal), but is there any advice on tactics that would give me the best chance here? Stand and engage or still try to move quickly to cover?
