I'm not sure if it's correct. But basically I draw the spots with a pencil and blur them. But having a tutorial would be nice :) I suck at smudging, when I smudge anything it fails. :p I might not be able to draw the tortie for quite a few hours since I have school and stuff -_- right now it's form time so I have some time to post these messages. The dappled layers consist of dapples added on with a bristle brush, then smudged with the bristles 03 brush like texture. There are 3 layers of dapples. The base color is Frog's kit version's base, and then the stripes are on the layer above the dapples.
