Exercise has always been an important component to my travels. This mainly took the form of long walks at my destination until a couple of years ago when I started running.

Now that I’m more active (in just two years, I’ve run in Berlin, Rome, Santa Fe, Luang Prabang, Chiang Mai, New Jersey, Upstate New York, New York City, and more), I’ve needed some workout clothes that are more appropriate for this active lifestyle and that can travel well.

For 30 years, Moving Comfort has specialized in workout bras, tops, and bottoms for women. They started when (gulp) there were no such companies. We’ve come a long way, baby!

Now, they have a huge variety of clothes that fit any woman’s exercise needs and in a very stylish way.

My favorite Moving Comfort workout clothes include the following:

The Sprint Sleeveless top – I love the ruching – that’s the bunched seams – on this! It’s quite fitted but with 10% spandex, there’s plenty of room to move – I can run in it, lift weights, and even do yoga.

Available for under $30 on Amazon.

The Momentum Shorts - These have a wide waistband with a small zippered pocket in the back waistband (perfect for my house or hotel room key and ID when I run). They’re also very lightweight and wick away my sweat – again great for running.

Available for under $25 on Amazon.

Luna Bra – This is a pretty good fit for my bustier top. And while it does fit well, I find that when running or doing jumping jacks, the bottom part, right under the cup, tends to flap over a bit. Not sure I can explain it better than that, but it just doesn’t seem to stay in place if I’m bouncing around too much. But it’s more something that I notice as opposed to it being an annoyance. And I forget about it after the first few minutes of exercise anyway.

Available for under $40 on Amazon.

What I Love

Overall, Moving Comfort really knows what they are doing when it comes to women’s workout clothes. They win in comfort, fit, and style.

I love the fit of both the top and shorts mentioned here. It’s just a shame that I mainly work out at home or in my hotel room – I don’t get to show them off!

Very reasonably priced for workout clothes that I think will last me quite a long time.

All items noted here are easy to pack.

Travel Well,

Beth
