The sessions will be limited to approximately two groups of 12 players, based on age; goalkeepers in the 5th and 6th grade will train from 6-7pm each evening, while goalkeepers in the 7th amp; 8th grade will train from 7-8pm each evening. Please register for the goakeeper clinic through the registration tab in the upper left hand side of the homepage. Cost is only $75 for the week! /p

pGoalkeeper is one of the most physically and mentally demanding positions in soccer. /p

pThe clinics will be run by Coach Scott Sullivan, a former college goalkeeper who has coached at the high school, club and college levels. His sessions are fun, but demanding. The players will learn shot blocking, cutting down angles, controlling goal scoring chances, dealing with crosses, winning the ball under pressure, distributing the ball and organizing the defense. The players will learn not only the technical skills of goalkeeping but also the tactical skills to allow them to improve and succeed. By limiting the number of participants, we hope to have the players involved all the time, coached by a specialist with a goalkeeper’s perspective and not from the sidelines./p
