Wallingford/Meriden 2015 Holiday and Craft Fairs

It’s time again for our annual holiday and craft fair post! Here is a list of all the events coming up in the Wallingford/Meriden area:



Wallingford:

November 14th:

Wallingford Senior Center Annual Holiday Fair, from 9am – 2pm at 238 Washington Street. For more information, call Debby at 203-265-7753 or visit www.wlfdsseniorctr.com.

St. Paul Episcopal Church Craft Fair, 10am – 2pm at 65 No. Main Street. For applications and information, call Karen Rowe at 203-619-2410 or email her at k.rowe@cox.net.

Saints Peter and Paul Roman Catholic church Holiday Fair, 9am – 2pm at PNA Park, North Plains Industrial Highway. They will once again feature their Polish Kitchen, serving their famous Polish platter, kielbasa, pierogi, stuffed cabbage, sauerkraut and rye bread, and other ala carte items.

Masonicare at Ashlar Village on Cheshire Road in Wallingford will be hosting a Holiday Arts and Crafts Fair and is looking for vendors and crafters to participate. The fair, which will be open to the public, will take place on Saturday, Nov. 14th, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Hartog Activities Center Auditorium. November 15th:

Parker Farms School 6th Annual Holiday Fair, 10am – 2pm, at Parker Farms School, 30 Parker Farms Road. Free admission, all proceeds go to the Cook Hill/Parker Farms PTO.

November 20th:

Yalesville United Methodist Church. 4-7 pm Gift boutique, crafts, gift baskets, baked goods, cookie walk. Serving soups and sandwiches Fri and Sat.

November 21st:

Lyman Hall Holiday Craft Fair, 9am – 2pm at Lyman Hall High School at 70 Pond Hill Road. For more information, call Roseann Augur at 203-294-1062 or email her at roseann.augur@gmail.com.

Christmas Boutique and Luncheon hosted by First Baptist Church, 114 North Main Street, 9am-2pm. Featuring unique gifts & vendors, “gently” used book table, baked goods table, “White Elephant” Christmas table, luncheon soups and sandwiches.

Yalesville United Methodist Church. 9am-2pm. Gift boutique, crafts, gift baskets, baked goods, cookie walk. Serving soups and sandwiches Fri and Sat.

November 28th:

East Wallingford Volunteer Fire Department’s 29th Annual Craft Fair, from 9am – 2pm at the fire house at 2 Kondracki Lane. Contact Tim Whalen at 203-265-4734 or email EWFDCCraftFair@gmail.com for more info.

Sheehan H.S. Music Parents Assoc is having a Holiday Vendor Fair on Sat Nov 29th from 9am-2pm at Sheehan High School, 142 Hope Hill Rd. For more info or to secure a vendor space, contact Sue Simpson at s-simpson@msn.com or go to sheehanmpa.org.

Yalesville VFD Craft/Vendor Fair, 9am to 3pm at the Yalesville VFD, 143 Hope Hill Road. Santa will be there from 1 – 3pm, and take your picture on a fire truck! Contact Stacy at 203-269-1721 for more information.

Masonicare Health Center, 22 Masonic Avenue, will be hosting a Holiday Fair from 9am to 2pm. It’s a day full of shopping, food, fun, and more! Looking to do a LOT of affordable holiday shopping? Want to take the kids to meet Mr. & Ms. Claus or to make their own Ornament? Do you or someone you know love Trains? Then come meet Santa and Ms. Claus, come view our Extraordinary Train Room, but don’t forget to do some Christmas shopping while you’re here. Come browse and see what Masonicare’s Holiday Fair has to offer you this Season!! Also don’t miss your chance to WIN the 3ft tall Specialty Christmas Tree Drawing! November 29th:

The Hungarian Cultural Society of Connecticut will hold their first annual Christmas Bazaar at the Hungarian Club, 147 Ward Street, from 10am to 4pm, featuring arts and crafts, food, and handmade Christmas candy. Free admission.

December 4th:

Gaylord Hospital , 50 Gaylord Farm Road, in the lobby from 9am – 4pm.

December 5th:

First Congregational Church Christmas Fair is Saturday, December 5th from 9AM to 3PM. Lunch will be served at 11:30am and there will be hand-made crafts, pies and baked goods along with a cookie walk. Come and join us. We are located at 23 South Main Street. December 12th:

Rock Hill School, 910 Old Rock Hill Road, will hold its annual craft fair from 9am to 3pm on Saturday the 12th at the school. For more info call the school at 203-294-6260.

November 13th:

Gallery 53 in conjunction with the Unitarian Universalist Church, 328 Paddock Ave., is hosting it’s annual Crafts Fair from 3 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 13, and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 14. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be there on Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. There will also be additional art activities for children at this time. Call Rita at the Gallery if interested-203-235-5347.

November 14th:

St. John Lutheran Church / Preschool, 520 Paddock Ave., will host its annual Holiday Fair, will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, in the fellowship hall of the church. For information, call or text 203-238-2331.

Wilcox Tech High School Craft Fair will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 14, at Wilcox Tech High School, 298 Oregon Road. Raffles, Santa, and student volunteers to help with set-up/clean up. For information, call 203-317-5977.

UMW of the First United Methodist Church, 159 E. Main St, will host a holiday fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 14. Gift Baskets of all varieties, sizes and prices, handmade items, crafts, quilts. Baked goods, lunch available for eat-in or take out. Free admission. Parking in rear off Pleasant Street.

South Meriden Trinity United Methodist Church, 145 Main St. presents Village Holiday Bazaar from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14. Gift baskets, scarfs, crafts, fudge, Rada knives, baked goods,adult bibs. Café from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Serving delicious soups, chili sandwiches, hot dogs and hot apple crisp.

November 15th:

South Meriden Trinity United Methodist Church presents their Village Holiday Bazaar, Sat. Nov. 15th 9am – 3pm at 145 Main St. South Meriden ( in hall behind church). Gift baskets, scarfs, homemade crafts, fudge, Rada knives, Baked goods, & more. Café 9:30 – 2:30 serving delicious soups & chili, sandwiches, hot dogs & “Hot” apple crisp.

November 18th:

November 21st:

Our Lady of Mount Carmel Society is sponsoring its first Holiday Fair and Bake Sale from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, in the church hall at 109 Goodwill Ave. Anyone interested in renting a table may call Jacqueline Sita at 203-634-9266 or Theresa Macri 203-317-6216.

23rd Annual Franciscan Christmas Fair, 9:30am – 2:30pm, Franciscan Life Center, 271 Finch Avenue. For more info, call 203-237-8084 or visit www.flcenter.org.

Holiday Fair at St. Laurent Church, 121 Camp St., Meriden will take place on Saturday, Nov. 21, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the church hall. Plenty of off street parking. Candy cane cafe, cookie walk, craft tables, cemetery boxes, teacup auction and more. Crafters call Jeanine at (203) 238-4273 for table information.

November 22nd:

Village Barn 16 River Road, South Meriden from 1pm – 5pm.

November 28th:

Meriden Holy Angels Annual Christmas on the Hill Holiday Bazaar, 9am – 3pm, Church of the Holy Angels, 585 Main Street. For more details, call the Parish Office at 203-235-3822, email office@holyangelschurch.com, or visit www.holyangelschurch.com.

November 29th:

The Village at Kensington Place will be having their craft fair in the village on November 29th from 10 a.m. To 3 p.m. 511 Kensington Avenue, Meriden. Contact lerodriguez@benchmarkquality.com for more info.

December 4th:

Thomas Hooker Elementary School Holiday Fair. Friday Dec 4th from 5-8pm. Still currently looking for vendors. Contact Joelle Quilty joellequilty@att.net or 203.639.9063.

Saint Joseph School in Meriden is hosting a Christmas Craft and Cookie Walk on Friday, December 4 from 5:30 – 8:30 pm at Saint Joseph Church in Rosary Hall. There will be a cookie walk, ornament decorating, holiday crafts, basket raffle and refreshments! This is a great family event. For more information, contact Kim Camire at 203-687-8079.

December 5th:

Hanover School, 208 Main St., S. Meriden will be hosting “Christmas in the Village” from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5. Looking for all types of vendors and crafters. If interested, contact, Sarah Dudley (203)606-4875 or email ptohanover@gmail.com

Westfield Care and Rehab will hold its annual Christmas Fair. Anyone interested in renting a table can contact Christina Sterling at 203-238-1291.
