Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Tori Spelling and husband Dean McDermott are all set to film their reality show documenting their marital struggles, it was announced Monday.

The show comes shortly after McDermott finished his rehab stint to address “some health and personal issues.” It aims to tell the couple’s “real story…as it should be.”

Lifetime dubbed the upcoming docu-series as a “unique television event,” where “Tori has made the courageous decision to allow the audience to witness the most difficult and unpredictable period in her life.”

Moreover, it promises “intimate, raw, emotional and completely real” peek into Spelling and McDermott’s relationship, as the show will air only three weeks after beginning filming.

“Since viewers will be seeing events almost immediately after they occur,” the press release reads, “nobody knows how the drama will unfold—not Tori, not Dean—and only time will tell if Tori and Dean’s marriage survives.”

Spelling, 40, and McDermott, 47, have been married since 2006. They have four children together, Liam, 7, Stella, 5, Hattie, 2, and Finn, 19 months.

“True Tori” is set to premiere on Lifetime on April 22 at 10 p.m. ET.
