Urging consequences for those who violate the right to free expression

The IFEX (http://ifex.org/) network is launching its third annual campaign to end impunity on November 1. The campaign culminates on November 23 - the International Day to End Impunity (http://ifex.org/impunity/2013/11/01/day_to_end_impunity/).

While there is a growing awareness of the problem of impunity and how it allows - even exacerbates - violations of human rights, the pressure needs to be kept up, IFEX said in a news release.
