Holmes Beach

This beach is at the center of Anna Maria Island. It is one of busiest part of the island and is a residential area. Though there are not many facilities on the beach, you have plenty to look forward to. It is the sort of beach where you would not mind spending your whole day. Some of the entries to the beach have picnic tables, which are covered by Australian pines making it a perfect spot to park oneself and enjoy the beach. If you desire you can hire a boat and go out on a private fishing tour or just enjoy a pancake breakfast at “Café on the Beach”.

Bradenton Beach

Located in the city of Bradenton Beach it can be accessed through the side streets of Gulf Drive. It is one of those beaches where you can be sure to find a people around. Lined with casual dining, beach bars, ice-cream parlors and so on, there are plenty of attractions on these beaches. Make the most of the watery deeps by going on a fishing trip. There is limited parking available, so it is better to arrive early!
