ChanChan is a serial that telecasts on Sony TV from Monday to Thursday at 9:00 pm. The story of the serial is based on Rekha starrer movie “Khoobsurat” in which Rekha played the role of a modern, free minded bahu. Similarly in this serial Chan Chan’s character is inspired from Rekha’s character, Sanaya Irani of “Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon” fame plays the role of Chan Chan. Sanaya is shown as a bubbly fun loving girl who is modern and loves to help people. She gets married in a traditional family which is dominated by Chan Chan’s strict mother in-law played by Supriya Pathak. Supriya Pathak’s character believes in making everyone around her go as per her rules.
