Ochefu may be on his way out in DC, and Kyle Lowry is looking to capitalize on his recent success.

Reports out over the weekend have the Washington Wizards are likely to cut Villanova alumnus Daniel Ochefu soon. Nothing against the Wildcats' national champion big man, but the Wizards seems to be a little bit over-invested in their front court, so something has to give, and it's not going to be any of their veterans.

That doesn't mean that the adventure is over for Ochefu, of course. He'll surely end up playing somewhere this season, though we'll have to wait where he catches on.

Ochefu isn't the only former Wildcat in the NBA whose agent will be getting busy soon. Kyle Lowry is reportedly opting out of the last year of his deal with the Toronto Raptors. He isn't necessarily moving on from Toronto, but with his recent string of successes, it probably makes sense for him to feel out the market for his services right now.

Oh, and Tina Fey wore some Villanova gear on Saturday Night Live, when she yelled, "First of all, Indiana, no one wants your garbage pizza." Before anyone jumps in to defend Pizza from the midwest (you too, Chicago), lets note that Indiana is far outside the "Pizza Belt." Science has spoken, folks.

And now, "the news":
