New multisport race, the RedBull Defienace takes over Wanaka this weekend.
Local and international elite athletes and sport enthusiasts prepare to tackle greater Wanaka’s spectacular terrain never raced on before in Red Bull Defiance this Friday and Saturday, October 24-25. Designed by New Zealand’s current Coast to Coast champion Braden Currie, the new innovative format involves the multiple disciplines of run, kayak and bike combined with clay bird shooting and abseiling.
