Two weeks ago, Pakistan’s most-loved personalities in the fields of fashion, film, music and television came together for the country’s 15th annual LUX Style Awards, presented by Geo, in Karachi. And by the looks of it on Instagram, the evening was absolutely unmissable.
Kicked off with a red carpet session hosted by actor Ayesha Omar, the event highlighted the achievements of the country’s best, from hair and make-up artist Nabila (who bagged her 10th LUX Style Award this year!) to actor Humayun Saeed, and designer Shamaeel Ansari. There to celebrate their wins were stars including Mahira Khan (who also performed on stage to her best hits), host for the evening Ali Zafar, and Fawad Khan.
“The Lux Style Awards are a reaffirmation of our belief in the outstanding talent we have in Pakistan,” said Shazia Syed, chairperson of Unilever Pakistan. “Over the last fifteen years, the LSA have been a premier and unbiased platform showcasing the abilities of our budding local talent for the world to see in the fields of film, music, fashion and glamour. We are especially proud that this platform has proven to be a turning point for many careers, with Pakistani artistes going on to prove their mettle in bigger markets.”
In true LSA fashion, the evening came to a close by announcing Scholarship Awards for the students of four institutions that have been part of the LSA initiative since 2008.
While you may have already seen the coolest Instagrams from the night that was, we’re giving you an exclusive look at some of the evening’s most stunning inside pictures. Bet you can’t look away from this slideshow!
