A quick scan of actor Shahid Kapoor and designer Kunal Rawal’s Instagram accounts will reveal that these two know no boundaries between work and play—and were a natural choice of guests on Ciaz presents Vogue BFFs powered by Yu Mobile and style partner Myntra on Colors Infinity.
First introduced to each other by style maven Sonam Kapoor herself—legend goes that Rawal, a budding designer, came to Kapoor’s rescue when the star was stood up by a designer and was in desperate need of a costume for a show the next day, and the rest is history.
Kapoor credited Rawal for working on his look, introducing him to style and said they’ve evolved with each other over the years. The designer spoke about the star’s transformation from his early years to present times both professionally and on a personal level. Rawal was quick to reveal that the one-time basement club in the Kapoor residence has now been converted into a nursery for his two-month-old daughter Misha Kapoor.
The actor also joked that ever since his marriage to Mira Kapoor, he hasn’t been hit on for a while and between the two BFFs, Rawal was the most likely to get arrested and walk out of the house without his pants on.
