Celebrities are often well-turned for the red carpet but there are a few looks that stay with us much after the event is over. October saw Deepika Padukone make a statement in a simple, elegantly-cut grey midi dress by H&M. Priyanka Chopra picked a risqué Haider Ackermann ensemble for the Instyle awards ceremony. Jacqueline Fernandez traded de rigueur sequinned dresses for a pastel number by Christopher Kane.
Supermodels Karlie Kloss, Jourdan Dunn and Lily Aldridge picked form-flattering ensembles for various events. Rihanna sported a powder pink trailing tracksuit from Fenty X Puma—the coolest update to athleisure. Sridevi’s subtly embellished Manish Malhotra gown, Sonam Kapoor’s Ralph & Russo ensemble and Kiran Rao’s monochromatic look by Behno deserve notable mentions. But our favourite remains FLOTUS Michelle Obama’s striking chainmail gown by Atelier Versace.
