Purcellville (June 2, 2014) -  Woodgrove Soccer celebrated two of their girls soccer players going on to play in college at a recently signing ceremony.  The seniors were:



Polly Healy

 

Polly Healy, who will be playing Division III soccer at University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, VA.  She plans to follow a program of studies to prepare her for medical school.

Polly is a member of the Varsity Club, National Honor Society, Science National Honor Society, and Athlete to Athlete.  She is an honor roll student and scored Magna Cum Laude on the National Latin Exam.  She is a captain of the varsity team as well as her club team (3 years).  She is also a 2-time VHSL state champ.

 

 

 



Dakota Stephens

 

Dakota Stephens who will be playing Division I soccer at North Carolina State University.  She plans to study English and then continue on to get her law degree.

Dakota is an honor roll student, a member of PEER club, and was on the 2013 Homecoming court.  She is a member of the 2012 and 2013 VA State Cup Championship team and 2012 VHSL State Championship team.  She is a CCI league champion, as well as the 2013 and 2014 National League Champion.  Dakota has also been a volunteer coach for Loudoun Soccer.
